So I’m bored.

The extreme heat has kept my off my bike and now I’m thinking about another long trip for late summer or early fall. With or without Nina, but definitely looking at doing it.

Not sure where, but I’m thinking of heading east again. Doing west makes no real sense since it’s usually easy to do a weekend ride or long weekend ride for me. Both of us enjoyed the area around Bardstown Kentucky, but that will happen again next year.

I might head north to Sturgis and head east from there. While in SD, I could also do the Black Hills. I love the Black Hills. Maybe Milwaukee afterwards and then to Michigan to visit Mom, Paul, and Beth & associated family that are connected to the above. After Michigan, I know I could head to Illinois and crash at Johnson’s place.

Just spitballing here. Peace.

The case of the Frozen Crabs…

An attorney boarded an airplane in New Orleans with a box of frozen crabs. He asked the blonde stewardess on duty to take care of them for him. She took the box and promised to put it in the crew’s refrigerator.

He advised her he was holding her personally responsible for the seafood, mentioning in a very haughty manner that he was a lawyer, and proceeding to rant about what would happen if she let them thaw in flight.

Needless to say, she was very annoyed by his behavior.

Shortly before landing in New York, she used the intercom to announce to the entire cabin, “Would the lawyer who gave me the crabs in New Orleans please raise his hand?”

Not a single hand went up…so she took the box home and shared the seafood with her family.

Two lessons here:

1. Lawyers aren’t as smart as they think they are.

2. Blondes aren’t as dumb as most folks think.
