What a shit day

+ I got my lot graded.
–  It was windy and dusty while doing it.
+ I also graded the road to the storage units.
+ I also was able repair much of the damage the construction company did to that road during the time they were there.
–  I had to berm the area over the piping crossing the road.
–  I don’t have enough gravel to do so properly.  $$$
–  I was informed they start the 3 phase of construction next week.
+ As soon as the 3rd phase is complete, we can list this place for sale.
+ I graded Catherine’s drive today too.    $50!
+ & – The day was beautiful and I was going to take the afternoon to ride.
–  The bike wouldn’t start! DAMN IT! It had been weeks since I started it and it was DEAD!
–  My battery charger was missing!  JEANNIE! NEVER AGAIN WILL I LEND YOU OR YOUR FAMILY ANY OF MY SHIT! NEVER!
–  I ran to town to get a new charger and left my bike on the trickle charger.
+ It started when I got home and I let it run for 15 minutes while I talked with Dennis.
–  It was too late to do the ride I had planned.  DAMN YOU JEANNIE!
+ Tomorrow is supposed to be another beautiful day!
+ Sunday is another beautiful day. HOG ride and lunch planned.
–  I don’t trust the weatherliars!

Jeannie

Jeannie has a lung infection that had her complaining about pain at work. She went tot he clinic from there to the hospital. She has a lung infection. Meds will knock it out. She’s had this before. Nina and I are glad that she’s going to be fine.

Words mean things.

  • Yesterday, Erin and I were getting ready to go to lunch.
  • She wished to bring her new stuffed animal, a baby seal named Salty.
  • I said sure.
  • She went looking for something and I asked her what she was looking for.
  • She  told me she needed a bucket to carry Salty in so he would remain “HYDRATED”.
  • A 6 y.o. using a $3 word in reference to her stuffed seal and using that word CORRECTLY.
  • That little snot amazes me at times.

Screwed again

Leroy Hernandez of Clogbuster’s Plumbing managed to screw me over again. Thanks Leroy, you piece of shit. It turns out that after he walked off the job without warning, the sceptic tank he left behind is really a cistern. I have no need for a cistern. This tank will be demolished in the hole it sits.

I have a piece of his equipment here still and I will make it disappear to screw him over just a little bit. It’s his narrow bucket for his backhoe. Plumbers need these to run lines.

I will not be using local talent anymore for any reason. I’ve been so disappointed in the past and present, so now I will use fully licensed contractors for ANYTHING! Anyone I use for any repairs, remodel, addition, or new regs will be fully vetted and must give references.

Sunday Sunday

  • Happy Sunday everyone!
  • Today Nina and I are doing our usual Sunday ride.
  • Tori wants us to pick up Erin. I’ve heard 2 reasons for us to pick her up.
  • Reason # 1: It’s snowing and I hate driving in the snow. This reason is no longer valid, it hasn’t snowed for 18 hours.
  • Reason # 2: I hate seeing them every week! OK, that’s a valid reason no matter what the season. I myself would rather not see them, ever.
  • We’ll probably pick her up but I find it horrible being seen with Erin the way they dress her. People think WE dress her that way. The best way to describe her clothes when she’s picked up from Dilia is clean homeless chic.
  • I can’t really blame them. Erin is probably the one that chooses her clothes and quite honestly she prefers clown clothes to the really nice stuff that Tori buys her.
  • When she’s wearing what Tori buys, the kid looks great. (See Tori, you got some creds here and you probably thought I’d trash you!)
  • Still not 100% sure that we’ll pick her up though, I have to talk with Nina when she gets out of bed.
  • I disabled the YouTube feed. I made a mistake releasing it. I thought the cops had released it, but it turns out that I was told they will release it due to a freedom of information request, not that they did  release it. With the state police, it takes some time for them to release, unlike Santa Fe who releases that type of thing almost immediately.
Stop worrying about the future and be thankful for what you’ve been blessed with so far.
