THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY WELL PUT AND I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT’S BY A YOUNG PERSON, A STUDENT! WHATEVER\u00a0HE RUNS FOR, I’LL VOTE FOR HIM.<\/p>\n
Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et\u00a0al:<\/p>\n
We have stuck together since\u00a0the late 1950’s for the\u00a0sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce.\u00a0I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship\u00a0has clearly run its course.<\/p>\n
Our two ideological sides of America\u00a0cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.<\/p>\n
Here is our separation agreement:<\/p>\n
–Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That\u00a0will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.<\/p>\n
–We don’t like re-distributive taxes so you can keep them.<\/p>\n
–You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.<\/p>\n
–Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and the military.<\/p>\n
–We’ll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and the coal mines, and you can go with wind, solar and\u00a0bio-diesel.<\/p>\n
–You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O’Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding\u00a0a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.<\/p>\n
–We’ll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street.<\/p>\n
–You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, hippies, druggies and illegal\u00a0aliens.<\/p>\n
–We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms,\u00a0greedy CEOs, and rednecks.<\/p>\n
–We’ll keep Bill O\u00e2Reilly and Bibles, and give you\u00a0NBC and Hollywood.<\/p>\n
–You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and\u00a0we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer places\u00a0that threaten us.<\/p>\n
–You can have the peaceniks and war protesters.<\/p>\n
–When our\u00a0allies or our way of life are under assault, we’ll help provide them security.<\/p>\n
–We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values.<\/p>\n
–You are welcome to Radical Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain.\u00a0You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.<\/p>\n
–We’ll keep the SUV’s, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volt Tesla and\u00a0Leaf you can find.<\/p>\n
–You can give everyone healthcare if you can find\u00a0any practicing doctors.<\/p>\n
–We’ll keep “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”\u00a0and “The National
\nAnthem.”<\/p>\n
–I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute “Imagine,”\u00a0“I’d Like to Teach\u00a0the World to Sing,” “Kumbaya,”\u00a0or “We Are the World.”<\/p>\n
–We’ll practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.<\/p>\n
–Since it often so offends you, we’ll keep our history,\u00a0our name and our flag.<\/p>\n
