Yesterday I got a call from our gas supplier. Our bank draw bounced. Made no sense to me or Nina, the money was there. And then some. So a night of anger, questioning, checking and vomiting was the result of a computer glitch. I was at the bank this morning, first thing, angry and determined to close our accounts and move everything to a different bank. It was all a mistake though, but it still cost me $225, which I will get back, but that’s for next week.<\/p>\n
At the time, no one could get into the bank’s computers, not even the tellers. Andy’s paycheck also bounced at that same time. Andy was as mad as I was, but his anger was directed at me.<\/p>\n
I get it. I really do. Computers lock up. Freeze solid. Hell, I still make money fixing some people’s computers, although less and less every year. It still pisses me off when it happens and costs me money, and trust.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
