{"id":15631,"date":"2020-01-18T07:49:37","date_gmt":"2020-01-18T14:49:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/the-glen-blog.com\/?p=15631"},"modified":"2020-01-18T07:54:12","modified_gmt":"2020-01-18T14:54:12","slug":"a-man-named-harold-and-a-president-named-barack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/the-glen-blog.com\/?p=15631","title":{"rendered":"A Man named Harold; and a president named Barack."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A Man named Harold; and a president named Barack.\u00a0This summarizes how most liberals view the US military:Harold was a bright child.\u00a0 He grew up in America.\u00a0 He went to school and had a bright future ahead of him.\u00a0 Harold was full of life but was cut short in a violent moment.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While few people had ever heard of Harold before his death, many did afterward \u00a0And in death, something very shocking happened.\u00a0 What was so shocking, especially when it is compared to the death of someone else recently in the news?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harold was Harold Greene, Major General, United States Army.\u00a0 On Aug. 5, 2014, Major General Greene was killed by a Taliban terrorist.\u00a0He was returned to America with full military honors.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has been a tradition that the president attends the funeral of General and Flag officers killed in the line of duty.\u00a0Richard Nixon attended the funeral of a Major General Casey killed in Vietnam and George W.
