Today marks 30 years of marriage to Nina. \u00a0I have to say that there is no one that I can think of that could put up with me like her. \u00a0I know I’m not easy and I try to keep things on an even keel, but I’m still not the easiest person to deal with.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we leave for Ouray and 6 days of playing in that area. \u00a0After that our plans are flexible. \u00a0Flexible to me = “Glen’s screwing with my mind” to Nina. \u00a0While I like doing that to her, the uncertainty of our business is why no plans are made yet. \u00a0I am thinking of several places for the second portion of our vacation, but mentioning them here could ruin the surprise.<\/p>\n
Our party was great. \u00a0Of all the invitees, only one couple didn’t show. \u00a0He called with some half-assed excuse about being in the hospital that day for some minor problem that he had that day. \u00a0Something about stones or passing or kidney and pain and peeing and stuff. \u00a0Sounds all made up to me. \u00a0My ex-friend Don and his bride didn’t show either, but they called 10 days prior to give me their PPP excuses. \u00a0More hospital and surgery stuff. \u00a0If any of you see or talk to Don, tell him I hate him. \u00a0Thanks. \u00a0Oh and if you mention that he’s very ugly it would make me smile.<\/p>\n
The day started off cool and cloudy with the threat of rain, but it cleared about an hour before the party started and warmed up nicely. \u00a0Arrow’s Ridge did a great job with this party and we’ll do any future party there any time. \u00a0It was a lot less work for us and it was flawless. \u00a0Thanks Joe, Anni, Steven, Julie, Gloria, Mark & Tim.<\/p>\n
Mom, Carl, Beth & Nancy joined us for the party. \u00a0It was great to see you here and I really appreciate the effort it took to join us for this event. \u00a0Carl, your great sacrifice of flying on a gas powered kite to get here deserves special mention. \u00a0That horrid experience added to the fact you never mentioned it or complained about the crude travel experience proves to the world that the Post Family is made of some strong stuff.<\/p>\n
