Fall is speeding by and winter is chugging in and frankly I can&#8217;t see me enjoying winter much this year.<\/li>\n<li>Nina never calls me anymore.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I stopped by the county manager&#8217;s office yesterday to see if he wanted to do lunch, but he couldn&#8217;t.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">We spent 40 minutes talking about lodger&#8217;s tax problems and my upcoming presentation before the commission.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">As I was leaving I turned and told him we could have gone to lunch in the amount of time we were talking.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Got a haircut today. I like having a female barber.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I did fish and chips for lunch at Dick&#8217;s. Charlotte, the bar owner, was in a bride of Frankenstein costume. \u00a0As I left I quipped &#8220;Decided against a costume this year I see.&#8221; and her 2 employees flinched. She laughed and wished me a nice day. She&#8217;s got a rep as a dragon lady with her help.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The place is too quiet without Erin.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I&#8217;m not shaving until Nina gets back and then I will not shave for another week.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thank God the world series is over. It was nice that Boston took it, but I still hate sports on TV.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today Joe and I are heading backcountry with our metal detectors to try and find a group of ruins to see what we can find.
