Wow, the month’s are just sliding by. Tomorrow we start with our expanded hours, closing at 9:00. We are starting to get more calls after closing asking if we are still open. Even after tomorrow’s additional hours, we will continue to have calls after hours asking the same question. 9:00 will remain in effect until sometime in mid fall. By then we will be loving the extra hour of quiet.<\/p>\n
We had brutal winds yesterday. The early morning hours were nice, but that quickly passed. 50 mile gusts that seemed more sustained than gust-like. Dennis was out on his bike yesterday and he said I should be glad I didn’t go out.<\/p>\n
More wind is expected throughout the week. The weatherliars all talk about “this storm” or “that storm” coming through and all we get from these storms is the freaking wind. The storms pass to the north of us, the winds seem to target us.<\/p>\n
