{"id":5931,"date":"2014-06-18T08:21:54","date_gmt":"2014-06-18T14:21:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/the-glen-blog.com\/?p=5931"},"modified":"2014-06-18T08:21:54","modified_gmt":"2014-06-18T14:21:54","slug":"hectic-16-hours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/the-glen-blog.com\/?p=5931","title":{"rendered":"Hectic 16 hours"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Power went out around 6:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">NINE power poles taken out by high winds, possibly a tornado.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ann McGrath said it was a tornado.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I drove by the area where the poles were down and it was about one mile stretch of damage.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Customers kept coming in, even though we had no power.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">They seemed to fail to understand that we had no power either and sometimes got &#8220;persistent&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">We locked the doors at 7:00 and put up a sign.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Power was returned around 10:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">We did not make the news.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">This morning I had to fix the internet because the ATM is hooked up to the net and there&#8217;s no land line there anymore.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">I had to get the cash register fixed.
