Sometime yesterday I realized that I missed a court date. Granted it was only a hearing and nothing much happened, but I wanted to be there! It was my fault. I entered the date in my calendar, which syncs across all of my devices, but I listed it as an all day appointment instead of an hour long one. All day appointments don’t allow for same day alerts. Live and learn.<\/p>\n
What happened was that he turned down the plea agreement, but since I haven’t been able to talk with my advocate, I don’t have details. He asked for another bond reduction and to be placed in the ankle bracelet monitoring program so he could live with his mother, who lives just a couple of miles from us. The judge changed nothing but he did schedule another hearing to address these issues.
