We survived another 4th. No one shot at us. The usual suspects have finally gotten the hint that I’m always present and they didn’t even show up across the street. Who knows, they may have been scared off by January’s event. The dogs were not terrified this year, just slightly nervous, they were glued to Nina mostly.<\/p>\n
We’re taking the bike out this morning. Breakfast, riding, and maybe lunch. We should be home early though, rain is in the forecast for later in the day. I’m sure they’re wrong as usual, but since I hate riding in the rain we’ll be home early.<\/p>\n
Nina is wandering around the house as I type this trying to decide which jacket to wear during our ride. I am so glad that I don’t feel the cold as she does. I’ll probably bring a jacket but wear only sunscreen.<\/p>\n
