Well, we did a long ride yesterday, 300+ miles. Well, that was my milage. Living 44 miles from the dealership, which was the starting and ending point of the ride, so round-trip is an additional 88 miles for me.

The ride was to Chama and the High Country Restaurant & Saloon, a SFHD favorite for one or two rides a year. The ride takes us through the red rocks region of Northern NM and other scenic areas. We returned to the store through Colorado on CO 17. Such a beautiful ride and it has some very nice twisties.

Other Stuff:
I have to tell you, I’m finding FB to be more informative and, sadly, more hateful lately. Recently I saw a video of a deranged liberal trashing a man’s car for having a Trump sticker on it. She slashed his tires and punctured his radiator and ruined the paint. He was on the phone with the cops at the time reporting what she was doing. I would have handled it myself, against advise of experts saying the police should be the ones to deal with things like that.

I’m starting to wind down my posting on FB and restricting my interactions to the groups where I’m a member. Even with that restriction I’m posting less in the groups. FB is so filled with liberal hatred of anyone or anything Trump or Republican that avoiding it is something I’m doing for my own sanity.

And then there’s the sensitive people that take offense at the slightest thing that you have to self-filter what you post and double check even the most innocent of posts so they are not butt-hurt.

Still not trained as a rider coach @ sFHD. Not the dealerships fault, but the MSF is to blame. The store is now talking about sending the 3 of us out of state to be trained. I’m willing to ride to any state but California for training. I doubt we’d have to go there since they have a different course than the rest of the country. Assholes just have to be different.
