•  Unexpected? Damn right it is. While I’ve been railing against her the entire campaign, I fully expected Clinton to win. I am happy she lost but I am  apprehensive about the next four years.
• I kind of felt this way when Reagan won, and he did great things. I hope the same thing happens again. History repeating itself would be a perfect ending to this totally fucked up campaign season.
• I’m stuned that Republicans won both houses of Congress. This pleases me.
• This  election, and the results, have shown me that I am right, the population of this country is tired of what’s been going on the past 12 years. We have been in a downward spiral politically, socially,  and economically. I hope Trump can do what he says and show the left and they were 100% wrong.
•  The US population has been screwed  over by Washington DC for so many years that the politicians and power have felt too comfortable with our complacency. That will change in January and that change started yesterday.
• To Rosie O’Donnell, Whoopie Goldberg, and all the other celebrities that have threatened to leave the country if Trump wins, don’t let the door hit you in the ass and please make your flight reservations immediately, you are not welcome here anymore. Your socially left bullshit threats do not work unless you carry them out.
•  President elect Trump, I wish you well and hope you are a man of your word. Historically I know I’m going to get screwed with  these words but it doesn’t change my hopes.

• Went for a nice ride. My bike has been ignored this month and I had only put on about 140 miles. Today I managed to bring it to around 300 miles.
• Erin is being called “Little Glen” @ SFH-D. I think that’s pretty cool. They all love her there. Tori and Michael took her there today and she just disappeared into the back rooms of the store.
• I’ve mostly avoided the internet & TV news today, but as I type this, I’m watching the results starting to roll in. While I will schedule this for Wednesday, I’m watching on Tuesday.  Trump is ahead now, but it’s still very early.
• I went down to I-40 for a quick way to Route 3. In Villanueva I stopped at the little store there for a Frito Pie. It serves a very good, but small lunch. I then got to hit the twisties of 3 all the way home. Fun ride.
• Oh yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETH!  Have a great birthmonth celebration.

Last night I was driving home and listening to a sports call-in program carried by WGN in Chicago on SIRIUS.

People were calling in, very upset, about the goat’s head that was sent to Cubs owner Tom Ricketts at Wrigley Field.

Then some guy called in from Mississippi and said, “Why are you people so upset ’cause someone sent a goat’s head to Wrigley Field?

Aren’t you Chicagoans the same guys that sent a horse’s ass to the White House?”

I had to pull over.

•  Well we had  our first good rain in months. Maybe I will grade the lot again since it’s been quite a while, or I might have Andy do it.
• We’ve had a warm October and have the promise of a warm November. The weatherliar just said on TV that this past October was the 2nd warmest in history.
• A group from our chapter was supposed to head to Socorro today for an overnight ride. The plan was to get up tomorrow @ 4:00 am and head to the bosque to watch the cranes take of on their yearly migration. We chose not to go. Nina wouldn’t get up at 4 to watch birds and I won’t get up at 4 unless I get to kill some of those birds. It’s been a while since I did the hunting thing.
• Well, Nina, Tori, and I all voted early yesterday. No sense of satisfaction in voting yesterday, or in the past 2 presidential elections. Horrid choices makes you not want to vote, almost.
• I’m hoping Andy & Debra vote on the 8th, but with what they’ve been going through lately, who knows.
• I’m so sick of hearing the names Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump that I’ve started muting the TV when their commercials come on.
• I hope Gary gets over 5% of the vote to make the Libertarians eligible for debates on the next election cycle. We need more than the 2 parties these days. The last 2 elections had both parties giving us morons and fuckwits!
• And of course I fully expect a shit storm of whining from the loser, and her supporters, of this years mess. All I can say is that both of them deserve to lose, but I’m hoping that Hillary gets her ass beaten bloody by Trump. She is the most evil sub-human piece of shit I’ve ever researched. Her treatment of people close to her gives a very real insight of what she feels about average people.
• Well, I think I’ll fire up the tractor and play in the rain. Peace!

Voted early today. Just 4 days early, but still early. It’s a first for me, I’ve always gone the day of the election. If in 4 years, things are not more civil and palatable, I will not vote again. Maybe.
