Dragnet remake
I did not watch the super bowl, but . . .
I had to watch this. I saw a clip on the news last night and this morning I went to YouTube to watch the whole thing. I still get emotional when I hear this song done right and Lady Gaga did it proud.

I’m betting that the fool that’s in the white house feels it’s another oppressive song that highlights our warrior stance in today’s world.
Ride to Cedar Crest to a new restaurant.
The day started out in the low 40’s and I was dressed in all my leathers to stay warm. I cranked up the heated seat and grips and with no wind the ride in was pretty nice. I was not in a hurry, so I did the speed limit which may have kept me without a ticket. Speed trap.
The new restaurant was pretty nice and since it only carried beer and wine, carrying was not a problem in there like it is at Ribs. By the time I got home, it was 55° and I almost hated parking the bike. 160 miles for the day.
Stuff
- Going riding today. Meeting at the dealership @ 11:00 and heading to places unknown, for now.
- This is a pickup ride and it appears that we’ll have a good group.
- Debra’s father died yesterday. (Debra is Andy’s girlfriend. Andy is our son. Some people that read this may not know this shit.)
- Tori is now a brunette. I was told that its her natural hair color. I find it hard to believe too, so don’t worry if you don’t believe it either.
- Yesterday was the monthly meeting of SDC-HOG. Good turnout and I ended up staying after for several hours just talking with shop customers. Nice morning.
- Erin returns today.
This is cool.
Nina got me drunk and then made me drive!
OK, I wasn’t drunk, but I had more than I wished and I was less than comfortable driving. We did the Bike Night at the Sage last night. The first Thursday of each month is Bike Night sponsored by SFH-D. I bought 2 drinks, which is my comfort level when driving. People kept buying me drinks and I finally told the bartender to make my drinks virgin. If I was riding I wouldn’t have touched booze.
We had a great time though. Many friends were there and a few new HOG members. I got a chance to chat with them for quite a long time. After I had to move on, I introduced them to Rick, our director and he had the chance to meet some new members.
I bought a few of the SFH-D employees drinks and had fun mingling with them away from the store.
Nice night out after a rough day.
Snow again
- We had snow again last night and I decided to let it go away on its own. Last time I plowed it started melting before I finished.
- Ole Fartz today. I was told recently that it was Ole, not Old. I hate being wrong.
- I’m hating winter more & more.
- Erin leaves tomorrow. I bought a picture book for her to give Belle about her time in London. I hope that Erin remembers to take it to her.
- www.santafehog.com is a new site I’m handling. Still under development, but it’s nearly done.
