Tori figured out that it’s only 7 days to Christmas and declared, “Ugh, only 7 days until Christmas!”

I replied, “What’s worse is that after Christmas it’s only 365 days until it happens again!”

This week is dragging. The month seems to be dragging to me. I’m sure Nina thinks it’s racing by, but not for me.

• I need to go to AT&T to complain about my cell service. People call me and claim it rings and rings, but the call never reaches me and it goes to voice mail. I never get a message from that call either and voicemail doesn’t have the message. I also never get LTE service in areas where I know it’s available. Nina’s phone has LTE but I get 4G or Edge.
• Erin’s penmanship is easier to read than Tori’s.  I’m sure to get some shit for this post. Love you Tori!
• Dinner last night was on the restaurant. That was our Christmas present from them. What a nice gesture. We go there every Tuesday if we’re not traveling. They love us.
• I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Nutcracker. I’ve heard the music over the years, but I can’t remember actually seeing it performed.
• It must be the name that keeps me from seeing it.
• It’s a guy thing.
• As you may recall, I bent my bumper while plowing my parking lot when I was distracted by someone doing donuts. I clipped a parking block and it bent near the front hitch receiver. I fixed that this weekend. See the picture below. I used a long piece of tubing that I placed in the receiver and lifted it with my tractor to bend it straight.
• I may use this method when it comes to changing my front tires. Faster and easier than using a jack.

 The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.

She caught me taking this one and . . . shall we say . . . voiced her disproval. It was special.

We had a nice breakfast at Harry’s Roadhouse this morning. I had the Spanish Hash w/4 eggs and Nina had a Benedict thing with potato pancakes instead of a muffin. We then went to World Market and picked up some snacks.

Erin is here now and she’s helping Nina do Christmas decorations. The tree is up and waiting for ML to waken from her nap to watch Erin and Nina hang the ornaments. The other people have horrid taste in Erin’s clothing. She always come back home looking like a homeless waif. I blame Belle.

Marylou slept yesterday for 15+ hours straight. I’m jealous. When she did finally get up, she was slightly pissed that she slept a large part of the day away. 9:30 is her new wake up time.

She wants us to empty her condo and bring all her shit here and replace all our stuff with hers. I’m not sure is she’s just screwing with us or if she’s serious. Nina believes she’s serious. We’re going to bring some things here for her room, but that’s about it.

Do whatever floats your boat, as long as it doesn’t sink mine.

Yesterday was Friday the 13th!  Good thing I’m not superstitious.  I’ve heard some funny stuff and amazing stuff this weekend.

Joe smells like poop.

My garage is a mess that goes far beyond my normal “less than tidy” organizational methods. Today I spent over an hour looking for my tire kit. It’s pretty obvious and I’ve never had an issue finding it, but it was gone.

Andy’t right rear tire was flat this morning and since it’s no longer real cold, it wasn’t a rim leak. I had a tire to fix and no kit to fix the tire. I bought a new kit today in Vegas and Andy’s tire is not fixed right yet. I used a ATV patch kit and that will be temporary.

I’m almost positive that Henry took the kit home with him for some reason and now he’ll “find” it tomorrow or the next day. Bullshit.

Today was a day spent with and talking to friends. Lunch with Joe, Steven and Dennis was a fun meal. We spent a great deal of the lunch laughing at each other and occasionally at other people.

I also talked to Ed Johnson today. He was telling me that his son asked Santa for a garbage truck and Eddie thought that I’d enjoy hearing that. He was right, I did enjoy hearing that, so much so I ordered him a garbage truck off of Amazon, had it gift-wrapped and had the card signed by Santa Claus.  $20 well spent.

Ed’s talking that he doubts he’ll have a job after the 1st of the year. Not sure why or what’s going on with his job, but he seemed pretty positive.

I also talked to Don earlier this week. We talk fairly often and I always enjoy hearing from him.

• It feels like Erin has just arrived and now she’s heading back to Dilia. Bummer.
• Full day today, sorta. I guess it’s a full afternoon.
• I have a lunch meeting planned in Vegas.
• I have a 3:00 marketing meeting at Highland’s University.
• I have a poker game at 6:00 at Curt’s place. I was told to bring a gun.
• Rereading this, I guess it isn’t that full after all. Just another day.
• Marylou is behaving herself. In a way she’s easier than Shirley. She can communicate with us. She feeds herself. She can aid in her care.
• She apologized to Tori last night. It brought a tear to my eye. Her and Tori are now besties.
• Erin likes ML. ML marvels at Erin’s energy.
• That’s if for now.
