It always seems to snow on Halloween, or so I was told when we moved here. Yesterday it proved true. Miserable day.
Today I start teaching riders how to ride Harleys. This will be the first class I teach with just one other coach, not six others. Should be fun.
Class starts @ 5:30 and runs to about 8:00, both this evening and tomorrow evening. Saturday & Sunday are range days or days the class actually rides Harleys.
Days are colder now, so riding requires more clothing. Nice thing about New Mexico, we have a year-round riding season, if you’re hardy enough.
November 11th is Veteran’s Day. The HOG chapter has a service every year to remember our vets. This year, I am the one leading the ceremony. Two of our members will do readings and reflect and then we all head to lunch.
One of the guards @ Santa Fe County Jail carpools with our son-in-law and he passes that boulder every day. Today, he must have decided to try and jump it. He failed!
I am a husband, father, grandfather, friend, business owner, traveller, Harley rider, citizen, patriot, gun owner, politically eclectic person of strange personal habits. I support police, trust no politicians, and can argue any side of an argument just to amuse myself. People love me or hate me and those that are in-between don't know me.
