We went to a picnic in Lamy, a tiny town along the Santa Fe Railroad tracks. It was an old time type of a town picnic which was invite only. The food was amazing and the music was good.

MEN ARE JUST HAPPIER PEOPLE…
What do you expect from such simple creatures? Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care of themselves. You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO shirt to a water park.
Car mechanics tell you the truth. The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station restroom, because this one is just too icky. You don’t have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add character. Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental-$100. People never stare at your chest when you’re talking to them. New shoes don’t cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood all the time. Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks.
A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend. Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Two pairs of shoes are more than enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck.
You can play with toys all your life. One wallet and one pair of shoes — One color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can ‘do’ your nails with a pocket knife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache. You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives On December 24 in 25 minutes. No wonder men are happier.

SO, send this to the women who have a sense of humor….and to the men who will enjoy reading.!!!
Heading out and making miles. About noon, we head to SFH-D to ride to Lamy with friends for a party. I think after an hour or so there, we’ll hit the road again and make some more miles. Hopefully I’ll have Nina take some pictures while we ride.
Only 2 more days until “Dog Terror Day”, a day that most dog owners dread. While we enjoy the bang and boom of a good fireworks display, our pets are usually terrified. Doggy drugs are the answer.
Damn, this month just flew by!
I am dismayed at the choices we’ve been given this election cycle. Clinton or Trump, neither of which is a good choice. I’m used to voting for the lessor of 2 evils, but this year gives me no major party choice. I hope to vote for Johnson, but if the polls show the moron and the bitch are neck-in-neck, I will vote for the moron.
I’m seeing more on the net about the end of days and how we are now in the end of days. I am not disbelieving these feelings. What is going on here and globally is definitely not the norm.
Nina and I had a great time at the Mine Shaft in Madrid, NM. This was an employee appreciation pizza party held for the employees of Santa Fe Harley-Davidson. We had a great turn out and it appeared that all had a great time.

Well, it appears the mythical monsoon season is here currently. Since we’ve moved here, we’ve seen weak or nonexistent monsoons, but we’re getting our daily rains now.
Erin and Nina are conspiring against me again. I found out last night that the two of them have agreed that Erin will be sleeping over tonight. That means that I can’t sit around in the evening hours in my underwear again.
We’re all hoping that she returns better than she left. Ringworm, she gets ringworm from the other people’s house and animals. She then passes it on to everyone here. I wish that the other people weren’t in the Erin equation anymore.
