So, taking Keith’s advise I went to the southern tip of England to visit with a friend and he took me on a tour of his area of rural England. All I can say is WOW. WOW to the scenery. WOW to the little villages. WOW to the narrow roads and WOW to the speed at which Martin drives down there.
First he picks me up from the train in a diesel powered Mercedes of some genre. I have no clue which one. Ripping through the streets of Brighton he took me to a tea room run by a couple of ladies that he met through the website I used to work for. I knew them from the site, but have never interacted with them. The food was good and the reminiscing of the fun we all had on the site was interesting.
After lunch, we headed to Sussex to Shaw Harley-Davidson. For all those that wanted poker chips, sorry but none were available. I did get 4 cool pins, but instead of the 2 or 3 pounds, they’ll cost you about $9 or $10 each.
Heading to Highgate Cemetery today. I should be taking pictures there and we hope to get a nice group shot.
Today is our last day here. Tomorrow we hit the tube early to head to the airport. We’re lucky that the tube stop nearby is the line that goes directly to Heathrow, so no transferring. We should be back at home by 9 p.m. or so tomorrow.
Well, it was a less than wonderful day in jolly old England today. Andy got food poisoning and was sidelined. I went to his aid and stayed close until the rest returned.
At dinner I got a call from adult probation informing me that Richard Griego was released from jail this week. In case you don’t remember, he was the one that stole our ATM some years back. He has a current “no contact order” for us and the property. Since he’s a chronic drug user, I fully expect that he will violate and go back to jail.
Erin’s being a crap to Tori. Tori’s being a bitch to the crab. Both need an attitude adjustment.
Erin in Westminster Cathedral. I even had permission to take the picture.

I’m thinking this is our last trip to London. One of those been there, done that feelings. While we’ve travelled here many times in winter, I’ve never been cold here before this trip. Mostly my feet are cold.
Erin’s a joy. She’s loving everything. Each day with her is an adventure.

I am a husband, father, grandfather, friend, business owner, traveller, Harley rider, citizen, patriot, gun owner, politically eclectic person of strange personal habits. I support police, trust no politicians, and can argue any side of an argument just to amuse myself. People love me or hate me and those that are in-between don't know me.
