Well, I took a ride this morning and checked the damages and while there are some things bad, overall things are pretty good in our area. Joe’s road is pretty screwed up, but he’s got that handled this morning with gravel and machinery.

We’ve had a shitload of rain this week. Using my cheapo rain gauge says that we’ve had 4 inches of rain and we have more on the way! Love seeing it, but it’s gonna cause Joe some grief tomorrow. 160 people are expected for a wedding and I’m afraid his road won’t be up to the challenge.
Yesterday a semi was sent up his road by mistake and cause over 100 feet of damage. Joe will be using my tractor to try to repair the damage and make the rest of the road passable for the guests.
We had a great night out and enjoyed our dinner and friends. Mark is with a wonderful lady and he’s talking about returning to his passion, woodworking. We need more nights like this.
Well, today is a busy day for us. I start the day with Pilates and Nina, Tori, and Erin are getting their hair done.
The rest of my day will fill up quickly, as all my days do lately. Not sure what the girls have planned for the rest of the day, but Nina always keeps herself busy.
They predict rain today and for most of the rest of the week. Not good riding weather. Of course I’m sure the weatherliars are wrong as usual.
Nina and I are not sure where or if we’re doing dinner tonight since el Rialto is still closed for cleaning.
Monday we are closed for 4 days due to a gas line upgrade. As it draws closer I get angrier at the total stupidity of this unneeded mandatory upgrade. I hate the EPA and our government. Hate.
The pictured bike is not my bike BTW. Just figured to post a pic of Dennis’ new bike, with me standing next to it for shits and giggles.
You never know how much you depend on shit until you don’t have it, right Tort?
