B.S. & Political Ridicule

graded the lot again

After all the rain we’ve been getting, my lot has taken a beating. I graded the lot on Wednesday or Thursday last week and I had to do it again this morning. Doing it in the dark is a bit weird, but I didn’t have to dodge any cars, which was very nice. I started at 4:15 and finished at 5:10. Less than an hour and that included an implement change.

We’re going to Harley-Davidson today. Big party there. Patricia Arquette and some other famous friends of Dennis Hopper will be there. I’m really not interested in meeting them, but I figured to get pics for the newsletter before they take off to Taos. We are not joining the Taos ride. This is all about the movie Easy Rider. Dennis Hopper was in the movie and is now dead. I have never seen Easy Rider. Weird, huh? If the day is nice, there could be hundreds of riders heading to Taos on this ride.

Caroline Kline is an amazing woman. She's been riding Harleys longer than most people have been alive. She owns several antique bikes and shows them all over the country.

Anyway, there’s more to SFH-D than what I can show here, I just don’t have pictures of everyone that works there. It’s a good group of people and I enjoy visiting with them when in SF.

Very wet!

The weatherliar got it partially right. Yesterday we were supposed to get rain all day that would carry through the evening hours, but we got nothing during the day and it rained all night. Glad to have the moisture, the state needs it bad!

I’m thinking of trading the Jeep in for a pickup truck. I have a few reasons that it may be wise, but I’m still up in the air.

Tomorrow I act as the photographer for Ladies Night at Santa Fe Harley-Davidson. Nina and tori are joining me and I’m not sure if it’s to enjoy the event or to keep me from enjoying the event too much. I’m to be the only male  non-employee attending the Ladies’ Night event. The Strange are performing on the runway.

Happy Mother’s Day

I hope everyone has a happy Mother’s Day.

No motorcycle ride for us today. We’re taking the Jeep out for a ride to the Route 60 area and may join the HOG group at Ribs for lunch. I always bring my camera with me when we drive to that area, so I’m going to guess that pictures may follow tomorrow.
