- I’m sure that you will agree that epic will not be an adequate word to describe what I’ve got to say today.
- Reading the paper online this morning in the bathtub, I feel that I can not categorically say that I will not vote for the hairbag Trump. The guy’s a fool but if the race ends up between Clinton or Trump, I will vote for the lesser of 2 evils.
- It’s sad that we, as a voting base, must settle for the “lesser of 2 evils” almost constantly. Sure there are more qualified people running, but none of them have a chance of grabbing the ring.
- The year in review? Do you really care? Well, if you insist . . .
- Erin has remained as one of my greatest joys in life. She is an amazing child that adores Tori and Nina beyond belief. Watching her light up at the mention of them or her hearing their voices, it just melts my heart.
- Nina, as always, is my rock. She is always by my side, even when we’re apart. I’m a lucky man. Luckier than I deserve.
- Tori and Andy? Still here. No doubts in my mind that they always will be and if called upon, they will have my back. Tori has Michael and Andy has Debra. I can see Andy moving from here eventually, but I doubt that Tori will. I wish they’d both leave and take their loved ones with them. This area is toxic for young people and any place else would be an improvement.
- The number of people that I consider friends has greatly increased this year. I can honestly say that joining 2 groups of people is to blame for that, HOG and the Old Fartz. Both are Harley related groups and both are active in the Santa Fe riding community. Many members cross-over between groups, but they are separate.
- My old friends are still important to me and most maintain that relationship on a regular basis. Trips east by me help and repeated calls reinforce.
- This year we made the decision to close the store and soon we will implement the actual plan to do so. It has been listed for sale for a few months now, but we’ve only had one interested party.
- Why are we closing? Changing patterns among our customer base. Locals being forced to work, bringing them to towns where shopping is cheaper. Gas is cheaper in town. Food is cheaper in town. Higher gas prices stopped many from taking road trips and while prices are lower currently, there is no confidence among travelers that they will stay low.
- Stray thought alert! With the low gas prices, I have liberal friends telling me that I finally have something to praise Obama about. Good God people, are you fucking that stupid? He didn’t do shit about the low prices other than be president when the oil companies finally had to lower their prices. Even that ass Obama doesn’t blow that horn, but his stupid supporters do. Idiots.
- January 24th, 2015. There’s a day that I never will forget. I shot a man that day. He did rob my store at gunpoint and he even took a shot at me during his escape, but I foiled his attempted robbery and escape. This started a process that I found fascinating and not very satisfying. It ended this month. He’s in jail, going for 2 years of locked down treatment and then goes on 4½ years of supervised probation. At anytime if he violates any part of this plan, he goes to jail for the remainder of the 6½ year sentence. Yes, I cornered him in a doghouse at gunpoint until the police arrived.
- Are you tired of reading this yet? If I offer you a little treat at the end, will you continue to read? I didn’t think so.
- NO TREAT FOR YOU!
- Family, other than NM family that is. I’m lucky to have family still. This year Nina lost her last closest living relative, a household member, her aunt. She still has family in the western suburbs, but they’re not really close. I think I’m closer to them than she is. Back to the aunt. While I never cared for the woman, we took her into our home to care for her. I have never met such an evil person in my life. She put up a good front prior to moving here and we had to put her into a care facility on occasions just to get a break from her toxic personality, but we kept bringing her back home. She died finally and I posted this: upon her death, but I guess that was insensitive. Time has passed and I have to agree, it was insensitive, but it was also funny as hell.
- Yes, I am an asshole, but I hate seeing my family abused by family or anyone, so if I’m insensitive to the abuser, so be it.
- My family back east. Hi guys! I know most of you read this daily and I thank you for that. Know that I love you all, but I like the distance we maintain. Paul knows this better than the rest, but I tend to be somewhat unable to control what comes out of my mouth and I feel that maintaining the distance makes for stronger familial relations among us. If you need me, just call.
- I just played the audio link above. You may consider that a treat as it made me smile!
- I guess I’ve said enough today. Tomorrow is a new day, a new month and a new year. I wish you all a Happy New Year and all the joy and love you deserve.

So bored
I hate these cold days that leave crappy roads. It’s no fun riding or driving or even going outside. I’m tired of winter already.
Computer Problems
I have no clue why other people have issues with their computers as often as they do. I’m not talking about people with Windows machines, these people are using Macs/Apple computers. Catherine and I spent about 30 minutes on the phone yesterday trying to troubleshoot her printing issues, an issue I’ve fixed twice before.
She’s leaving today for Vegas to meet her bf, so when she returns I’ll head to her house and uninstall all her printer shit and reinstall all new software. I’ll bring a shotgun just in case things are terminal and I have to put her computer out of my misery.
Since I no longer have a PC, I don’t work on them anymore. When people ask me for a recommendation, I tell the Apple computers/phones/tablets. They all sync seamlessly and are good products. As for printers, I prefer HP printers. Feel free to ignore my recommendations if you disagree.
Pure Garbage Outside Now
Nina and I went for our Sunday ride and after breakfast we just went home. We were going to head to the ghost town to take pictures of it in the snow, but the roads were too bad.
Snow
Merry christmas
That’s it.
Happy Christmas Eve
That’s it.
