I told you how I’ve been appointed to the Northeast Regional Tourism Board, part of the state tourism board. Well the first meeting is tomorrow and I never got any follow-up emails telling me when and where the meeting is going to be held.
I emailed the board members asking the when and where and got an apology and the info.
I need to travel 2 hours for this meeting and I’m hoping that the weather is nice enough for me to take the bike, but I have little chance of that happening.
The weatherliar claims we’re in for a wet week. Up to 4 inches for the week. I’ll believe it when I see the rain gauge bringing over the top.
I noticed today that I had rolled over 60,000 miles last week in my Jeep. I also need to have the fluids changed soon. I think I’m due for a major, which is not included in my oil change contract. They’ll deduct the cost of the oil from the bill but they will still gig me for a large bill.
The major includes both differentials, tranny and filter, coolant, and all filters.
I had to pause while writing this, Tori had me check for an invisible owl that was in the store. I scared it away. I must have, she no longer hears it.
This weekend’s bike rally in Vegas was a lot of fun. both Nina and I enjoyed the rally and the people watching. Sturgis next year!
