Well, the testing Nina and I were to have done yesterday never happened. The company called and tried to reschedule us to later in the day and because of the fasting requirements, it wasn’t practical for Nina.
I went to Old Fartz then. I may have to leave this group, they seem to just adore this damned rib joint in Cedar Crest and it’s their fall back place when no plans have been made.
I got caught in the rain on the way home again. The weatherliars all said no rain yesterday, but they lied, again.
I’ve had a bug for the past few days. It’s progressed from a stomach discomfort to full blown diarrhea. None of the over the counter AD stuff seems to have any effect on this bout.
Erin leaves today. While I hate to see her go on any Thursday, the info I got yesterday has me concerned about what’s really going on down in Dilia. It appears that while Will picks her up, she’s spending her time with other people, either family of friends, not Will or Belle. It seems that Will is too busy “working”, something that he’s not really known to do.

Longmire is here today. They are filming in the area and needed a place to set up shop. For the measly sum of $500 I allowed them to use our vacant lands. Pictures will probably follow.
Getting some medical testing today. It’s supposed to check for blockages in my arteries. Nina arranged it.
GONNA BE HOT!
Things are gonna get hot starting today. The weatherliars are talking about triple digits by the end of the week. With the heat, we are looking at humidity too because of all the rain we’ve had. I hate humidity.
ERIN
Yesterday, Erin and I did part of the day together. We went to the Pecos Nat. Monument and then did lunch at Casa de Hererra’s or I should say I had lunch and she had a brownie. I should know better. We had a nice time.
I won’t kid him about it, we all drop our bikes eventually.
Shrug it off and move on Michael.
Right now we have sideways rain happening.
I get a gift card for referring him to the dealership! WIN!
I’m not feeling well right now.
ML has crossed over. No, she didn’t die, she went from nutty as a fruit cake to batshit crazy.
I spent 30 minutes with her today telling her to die. OK, I was not that blunt, but she was asking about her family and I told her that they all died and were waiting for her on the other side. She then asked me, “the other side of what?” I wanted to punch her but that would require touching her
I thought he’d get what he asked for since the judge was kinda soft on the previous cases today.
It did not happen Romero’s way, his bond stayed at $5000 cash AND the judge added 2 requirements that he had to wear 2 ankle bracelets, one a monitor and the other a GPS tracker. This adds $800/month to the cost of his freedom. The bond and the $800 is most likely more than his mother can afford.
More of a reminder for me than a notification for you.
1:30 this afternoon, Romero will go before a judge for a bond reduction and/or release to house arrest with electronic monitoring with an ankle bracelet.
I will go to object, if allowed, to his release. He was out of jail on bond at the time he robbed our store. His mother’s house is just 2 miles from our place. Robbing our store involved 6 felonies.
I’m not sure the judge will allow me to speak, but I will talk with the prosecutor prior to the hearing.
Went for a ride today and on the way home I got caught in the rain. 30° drop in temperature from the time I left SF until I got home. 5 miles out it started raining and I got somewhat more than damp. Less than fun, but not really horrid.
It started at 2:55 a.m. It’s pouring out and has been for 30 minutes. Real light show out there.
ML has a new thing she does. She starts screaming in pain while sleeping. This is a fun and interesting change in her behavior. Now on top of her just being a bitch, we have this haunted scream to add to the fun. We will have to live with this until Tuesday when the hospice nurse brings us a “comfort kit” that should take the pain away.
We believe that morphine will be included in the kit. It was when Armand and Shirley were approaching the end. Shirley never gave it to Armand, she didn’t want him to become addicted. I am not kidding about this.
If she’s still alive when the 4th rolls around, Nina’s putting her in a home. Not the same one as before, but one that specializes in Alzheimer’s patients.
The storm has passed. I need to reclaim my tractor from Joe to do my lot this afternoon.
Gas is supposed to come this morning in about an hour. Anyone care to bet if he’ll be on time?
Oh well, now that I know the lights will remain on, I think I’ll jump in the tub and get that nasty little chore out of the way.
Nina and I did the dinner thing and early in the day I went for a ride. I am constantly stunned at the number of “happy birthdays” I get on FB every year. I was at Harley twice yesterday, once during my ride and again with Nina after dinner. Tori gave me a HD gift certificate that I used to splurge on some high end sunglasses. These have interchangeable lenses and are equipped with a very dark pair or lenses and a clear pair of lenses for night riding. Very comfortable and I’m told they’re stylish too. Thanks Tori & Erin!
I wish to thank my mother, without whom I wouldn’t be here.
I’d like to thank my father for his successful insemination of the above mentioned mother, but since he’s passed I can’t.
I do think of him on days like this though.
And then there’s Nina. Ever tolerant. Always understanding. Love, honor and tries not to kill me. I hit a home run with her!
I wish to give honorable mention to other family members that played a role in making me the wonderful person you all love.
I have to say that I have some great friends that keep me on my toes.
I also have enemies that remind me that life is not to be taken lightly. To them I say; I’m watching you!
I love my children, who are no longer children. One of them has a children of her own even.
Erin is my sanity, at least for now. She’s becoming more of a pain in the ass lately, but I still love her. (serves you right Tort. what goes around comes around!)
On FB I’ve gotten b’day wishes from all over the world.
Take care.
