- BIG strike either on the property or very close by.
- Scared the crap outta everyone here.
- Andy heard the gas computer crackling immediately after the strike.
- Power went out immediately.
- The power company guys were on the scene when it happened. Lunch break!
- Lucky us, they checked all of our transformers and then figured it was a off site breaker and they took off to fix it.
- 5 minutes later the power was restored.
- Gas computer booted back up properly! YAY!
- Pump 3 was fried. 1 out of 4 down? I can live with that for a while.
- I grabbed the special screwdriver that allows me to access the pump guts and disconnected all the power wires in sequence and reconnected them in reverse order. Pump 3 restored to service! YAY AGAIN!
- Big rainbow behind us now.
- Glad that I was home for this and I’m glad that it’s over now.
