Agreed!
Veteran’s Memorial Service Today
I’m joining my fellow HOG members in a ride to the Santa Fe National Cemetery for a memorial ride and service. Last year there were over 60 bikes. This year we expect over 100. It is the largest ride of the year.
Afterwards we have a HOG only lunch where the member veterans get a free lunch. During the lunch we’ll nominate new officers and possibly announce winners. Last year it was a fait accompli since those that volunteered were the only members running for each office. I’m up for webmaster and editor. Vote for me, vote early and vote often! Chicago politics at its best.
Wow, and I thought English was always the same, or at least close to what we use now.
Cold. Circles. Parking Lot. Cold. Snow
We had a brief bit of snow yesterday during lunch in Pecos, not enough to coat anything, but Santa Fe has snow on the ground right now. It shouldn’t last for long and the weatherliars are predicting the rest of the week to be nice.
I woke today to ice on our front deck. It’s gone now. It was cold though while I was driving the tractor in circles in my parking lot. Since we have no rain predicted for several days, I figured it was time to fix the parking lot. I do this between 6 & 6:30 to avoid customers, but today that backfired. I swear we had more customers today before 7 than we’ve had all week before 7.
It’s funny, when I’m doing this little chore, high dollar cars will not drive into my lot. Today a Benz and a Escalade decided to take their chances and head elsewhere than drive through my sloppy lot.
Start an argument
And then there’s Ben Affleck being a douche.
Cute and funny
