So tired of the bullshit

Too much bullshit lately. I’m pretty sure that it’s related to my mood that this asinine political season has shoved up our collective asses. Every time I see a commercial, commentary, news report, and a friend’s opinion, it triggers my foul mood. It starts small, but as the day progresses, I see more fecal matter. It doesn’t matter which side spews their shit, it’s all hateful and demeaning.

Add to the above the other aggravations of my day and I’m stunned I don’t have ulcers yet. I’m going to vote early either today or tomorrow and then my cares should disappear. Probably not, but I’ve done what I can about the 2 douche nozzles that are vying to put that shit stain of a current president into the history book and I can ignore all but the results.

I’m kinda hoping that Johnson becomes a spoiler for both of them in the short term. I’m not saying I voted for Gary, but I will have voted shortly.  If both the douche nozzles get less than the 270 needed, then it goes to congress and that should be an interesting fight to watch. At least it would be a new batch of bullshit rather than the fecal matter we been fed for the past year.

Bad influence

I find it sanctimonious and devoid of self-awareness that the media and people of our country are in such an outrage at the possibility that Russia is trying to influence our election. What’s that about people who live in glass houses? We — the United States — don’t just meddle. We overthrow governments (sometimes democratically elected ones) all over the world and replace them with ruthless dictators. We interfere in elections of other countries with regularity and impunity. So let us not react with astonishment if another country indulges in a bit of what we do with abandon. What’s that saying? “Physician, heal thyself.” Amen.
