So, I met with Richard Trujillo, the city manager, today and the mystery is over. He wanted to talk to me about the Rough Rider Motorcycle Rally for the upcoming year. The rally is in trouble and they asked the city to help. After our marketing meeting, which Richard sat in on, he decided to reach out to me to advise him on the direction he should take. The upshot of this is that he’s going to work on getting me on the RRR committee for 2017 and have ME represent the City of Las Vegas, NM. I’m not sure how this will work out, but I think it’s pretty cool.
