The weekend? Is it here yet?
Yesterday we met again and finally chose the marketing firm that will handle all the marketing for the city and the county. I spent 6 hours going through he packets and grading each firm and it turns out that I was the lazy one doing this. Most spent 8 to 10 hours doing this work. I guess the grading system worked though, we all agreed on the same firm. Sorry, I can’t tell you who it is, I’ve been sworn to secrecy.
Shirley should come home from the hospital today or tomorrow. It turns out that she didn’t have pneumonia, but a urinary tract infection. I won’t go into the details that Nina told me. Your welcome.
She was severely dehydrated too and they kept her this long to make sure she is rehydrated fully. I’m pretty sure she’ll do this again as soon as she gets home. The doctor told Nina she is at the beginning of the end. He has no idea how long, but it can come anytime or it she could last 2 years, max.
I did lunch yesterday. All alone. No Nina. No Tori. No Andy. No Erin. No Dennis. No Joe. No committee. No politicians. It was nice, I just read.
Tomorrow, Dennis and I will be installing the new surveillance system. Damned things are expensive! Oh well, it’ll be nice to see all parts of the store again.
