The world famous Old Fartz lunch was today and I actually made it there, on my bike even.
The stereo on my bike wasn’t working as I left the store. I tried everything I could think of to fix it. I pushed all the buttons, both on the radio and the grip controls. No joy. I even flipped it off and swore at it and NOTHING!
I figured that it’s no big deal, I could just take the bike in after lunch and have the dealership look at it.
Lunch went great, there were about 25 attendees in a very cramped space. British pub styled food, one of my favorite ethnic types of food.
Good food, good conversations, can’t be beat.
Left the restaurant and after I suited up and started the bike up, the damned radio was working! Shit, now what reason was I going to use to visit the dealership?
Went anyway and talked to Rudy about it and he noted the issue on my bike’s record. Better than nothing.
Last night was Ladies Night at the dealership, no Nina did not go, and Wayne was the hit of the night with his dancing skills. I saw that on FB and he was getting razzed about it by quite a few customers. A 17 second clip on FB and a lifetime of humor.
On the way home I listened to my previously busted radio. Talk radio even. One of the nationally syndicated conservative leaning mouthpieces was slamming Pelosi and Feinstein.
Dinner tonight was brats on the grill. Love the Johnsonville brats.
Erin was like she was on crack this evening. She had a nap. Funny how her nap rejuvenates her and gives her boundless energy and a nap of the same length just leaves me barely alive.
Tori got a text from Michael this evening and Erin and I intercepted it and sent him a picture of the both of us pulling faces at him. Silly Tori!
I rolled 7800 miles on my bike this afternoon. Drove it about 90 miles today.
Riding temperature was in the high 50’s and the sun made it feel much warmer.
Saturday night, Nina and I are heading to a party for the HOG officers at the dealership’s owner’s house. Mini meeting and the rest is a “get to know each other” thing. I’m looking forward to it.
Poker tomorrow.
Talked to Jamie yesterday. He’s in London by now. He left last night. I would have liked to have joined him there, but I’m not ready to make that trip again anytime soon.
Talked to Johnson this week too. He needs to sell some cars, so anyone that needs a car should contact him. Google Blue Arrow Motors in Illinois.
That’s it.
