Sometime yesterday I realized that I missed a court date. Granted it was only a hearing and nothing much happened, but I wanted to be there! It was my fault. I entered the date in my calendar, which syncs across all of my devices, but I listed it as an all day appointment instead of an hour long one. All day appointments don’t allow for same day alerts. Live and learn.

What happened was that he turned down the plea agreement, but since I haven’t been able to talk with my advocate, I don’t have details. He asked for another bond reduction and to be placed in the ankle bracelet monitoring program so he could live with his mother, who lives just a couple of miles from us. The judge changed nothing but he did schedule another hearing to address these issues. I will be notified and I will make sure to add the info correctly.
