A friend from way back married a preacher and moved to Niles Michigan and as I promised, I stopped by to visit. Since the church is a 7th Day Adventist Church, I visited on their Sabbath. She invited me to join her and her sons for the service and I did. It was an interesting morning and I was glad to see her again and meet her family. Darrel, her husband, is a pretty good pastor and I enjoyed the sermon.

Mom

Mom is doing great, she’s walking better after her surgery and it appears that Beth is no longer hitting her. Saturdays she spends the morning working for Nancy, carting heavy plants to customer’s cars.  I guess it’s what keeps her going. I don’t think Nancy ever hit her and I’m glad for that, Nancy’s pretty strong.
