Just a former garbageman living in New Mexico selling crap to tourists and locals alike.

Day 1 without Nina.

  • Slept great last night. 10 hours of sleep may be my favorite new thing in life.
  • Oh shit, I forgot that today is election day. I just turned on the TV and heard more b.s. about how nasty this year’s campaigning got. Each group of idiots are pointing across the aisle.
  • Get you ass out there and VOTE!
  • Dinner tonight with Catherine and Diane. Last time Nina left me, we had a great time when we went out.
  • GDI, our newest supplier, delivered the load yesterday at 6:30 p.m.  That is unacceptable and Rueben will hear about how unacceptable it is to me when I talk to him today. If it happens again, they will be a former supplier again. I bring in an extra person to help with the load and customers and I paid them for nothing yesterday.
  • Well, today ends the election cycle for this year. It also starts the press telling us where we went wrong in voting for who we did. I hate elections, they never end well for the country, take Obama as an example of a very bad result. What a shitbag!
  • Just heard from Rueben. He told me that when he got my message he knew they were in trouble. I got a $40 credit on my next order and a promise of him correcting the problem. I accepted the credit but told him that doesn’t negate my promise of canceling with them if it happened again.

Why are you reading this?
GET OUT AND VOTE!

Happy Erinday!

Nina and I picked up Erin from Dilia this afternoon. After 10 minutes of pleasantries with Will’s family, I said enough and we left. I’m abrupt sometimes. We did the McDonald’s thing on the way home and found that they had the McRib again. Nina and I both had one and it was great. I’ll probably do another one before they stop selling them.

Erin told us that she is “hyper-genic” on the way home. that means she’s hyper and genic, whatever genic means.

Tomorrow Erin, Nina and Erin’s Mom leave for Florida. Disney World! they come back on Saturday sometime. Erin is “hyper-insane” about leaving. I know what insane means and it’s close to how she’s acting. Erin has been given a whole bunch of money to spend at Disney. $200 from 1 person, $100 combined from 4 people, $160 combined from another 3 people. She’s pretty well liked and that makes me wonder what I did wrong as a kid. No one ever threw that kinda money at me when I was her age and going on vacation.

RAIN! Storm Even! Thunder too.

We made it home before the rain. We just had a lightning bolt strike close by and the thunder clap set off my car alarm’s shock sensor. It was startling to say the least.

Looks like I’ll be doing some grading with the tractor tomorrow. It’s always easier to do this when the ground is wet.

We arrived home and saw 2 guys on Harleys making ready for the rain. Rather than wait it out, they’re gonna push on. I have the rain gear for both Nina and I, but I almost would prefer to wait it out.

Sunday Drive

Before picking up Erin, Nina and I took a nice long drive. About 250 miles worth of a drive. Breakfast at Harry’s Roadhouse and we headed south from there until we were south of I-40. We like the area south of 40 and we seem to head that way frequently. It also works well in picking up Erin since Dilia is just north of 40.

Good judgment comes from bad experience …
And most of that comes from bad judgment.

Yesterday

So the decorated motorcycle  contest just had 2 entries and since we only had a first and second place prize it was fairly easy to assign the places.  (The first two pictures. )

The ’38 Harley, below, caught everyone’s attention. Love the bike, not so much the color though.

The sticker was on the winning bike and it was a gave that bike extra points for the win.

Over 100 bikes showed up with presents for the kids. This was the 30th year for the event here in SF.

Let’s see . . . . I didn’t win anything from the drawings. I did volunteer to be the H.O.G. newsletter editor and since no one else was interested in the post, I think I’ll be voted in.

Several of the Old Fartz were there and asked me where I’ve been for the lunches and I had to tell them I will miss the next one too. I scheduled a meeting for 11:30 for Wednesday. I just wasn’t thinking. Oh well, the lunches are every week, so I’ll get back to them again soon.

Saturday, NOVEMBER 1, 2014

  • Yep, another month passed into history. Welcome November.
  • November is the month that Sister Beth celebrates her birthday. ALL MONTH LONG!
  • Happy Birthmonth Beth. (Glad I got that out of the way)
  • Today I judge a contest at the Harley Davidson dealer. People are decorating their bikes for a Toys-For-Tots event at the dealership. Afterwards we go for a short ride to some sort of fraternal group’s place for lunch. I think it’s the Eagles and I’m to lazy to check the email.
  • Santa will be there. Too bad Erin isn’t here to join me.
  • The weatherliar has just told me that it may not be smart of me to take my bike into Santa Fe today. Yesterday this bastard told me that the weather we are expecting wouldn’t come until Sunday late. I hope one of his testicles gets infected.
  • I’ll take it anyway. I leave in 2 hours. Screw Ronchetti.
  • A SPECIAL NOTE TO THE PEOPLE OF ALBUQUERQUE: If you don’t like the cops shooting at you, quit shooting at them! Also, if a cop has a gun pointed at you, obey his commands. It doesn’t matter if he’s right or wrong in his actions, that gun can fucking kill you dumb ass! Sue him after the fact but comply until he quits pointing the gun at you. That is all.
  • Yeah, I’m tired of hearing about the special prosecutor in Albuquerque and his rulings.
  • As you can probably tell, I’m writing this while watching the news. We live in stupid times and are ruled by corrupt people that are voted into office by stupid people voting for the prettiest candidate. I can call this election right now telling you that the ugliest candidate will lose in their gambit for office.
  • Don’t forget to vote for your favorite form of corruption on Tuesday! I sure will.
  • No, I am not disillusioned, I’m mad that we are accepting these morons to represent us. BOTH parties are run by douchebags that care more about their shoes than they do about us.
  • Hey, it’s snowing in Georgia. Must be that pesky global warming, ehh?
  • Global warming? Real or liberal attempt at controlling Americans? I think the latter.
