Need to Buy ~ Parking Lot

  • My parking lot is blowing away.
  • This is quite possibly the worst wind I’ve seen since moving here.
  • It’s unrelenting.
  • Well, the weatherliars predicted this crap and they got it right.

Just talked to Nina.

She’s been working in the condo and even managed to make arrangements to 2 moving companies come in on Monday & Tuesday. Should be interesting at the costs of moving ML’s shit out here.

Joe

Joe loves this new website and the WordPress style of website. He’s been very busy playing with his new toy and has changed the site around from what I turned over to him. Check it out at Arrow’s Ridge. He added a lot of pictures.  Fun shit, eh Joe?

Day 10 ~ 2014 * Day 1 of Nina being gone.

It’s funny but Nina being gone has ML nervous. I wonder if she thinks I’ll kill her or rape her or just plain neglect her. Who knows where that twisted little brain goes when she’s sitting there glaring at the whores on TV.

She asks before bed how long Nina was going to be gone. I told her I didn’t know because Nina bought a 1 way ticket east. “That’s OK with you?” was her response. I told her we have trust and if I can disappear for a week or so, she can too. “Am I the reason she left?” I told her yes, but not for the reason she’s thinking. I told her that Nina was working at HER condo to prepare it for sale, so indirectly it is her fault that Nina’s gone. She went back to glaring at the whores again.

We left before Erin left yesterday. Erin too is upset about Nina leaving and cried when we left. I thought I had our departure timed to their picking Erin up, but once again they flaked on us. I have a feeling that I will have company every night until Nina returns. To Erin, it’s her responsibility to make sure we’re not lonely. She does good at that.

Going up to Arrow’s Ridge to finish up the website for Joe and give him and Steven a lesson on the admin dashboard. After that any of the 3 of us can make changes on the site.

We don’t forgive people because we are weak. We forgive people because we are strong enough to know that we all make mistakes and that it’s not our place to judge them.

Nina’s Off.

But then I’m sure you all suspected that when she married me. I dropped her off at the airport this morning and headed right home, with a stop at Chick-fil-A for lunch. Part way home I called Tori to find out that she busted the gas computer somehow.

OK, Tori didn’t do it, but she didn’t help the situation much by hitting my battery backup with a ball peen hammer.

OK, she didn’t really hit it with a hammer, but she is no electrical engineer. In fact I’m not sure she should be allowed to plug in her hairdryer.

OK, maybe she should be allowed to plug in her hairdryer, but she should stay away from water while using it.

Oh well, the gas computer is back up and running and it really wasn’t Tori’s fault and she did stay on the phone with some non-english speaking off-shore tech advisor that made her want to shoot the handset.

Chick-Fil-A

Finally had a chance of eating here. There’s one on the north end of Albuquerque that I swung through on the way home. First the good things. Very efficient. Drive through was faster than any I’ve ever been at and I’ve done a lot of drive throughs. Fair price. Sandwich, waffle fries and a huge drink for about $7. Nice friendly people working there. Waffle fries were great. Now the bad thing. I have never had such a bland chicken sandwich in my life. BLAH was what I was served.

I’m not a fan and will probably pass on a similar situation in the future. Similar situation? Chick-fil-A with a McDonalds and Burger King in the same area. BK’s chicken sandwiches are pretty darned good, and if you compare them to Chick-fil-A, they’re GREAT!

Day 9 ~ 2014

  • I take Nina to the airport today. Leaving at 10:30 for a 1:30 flight out. I hope all flights are back to normal by now.
  • Erin was so tired at the end of the day yesterday that she was fighting sleep worse than ever. She hates sleep.
  • I thought it might be a nightmare problem, but she says no.
  • Once again, I’m tired of the dryness, we could use some rain.
  • My tractor battery is dead. Not sure why.

I thought this was pretty funny. True but funny.

Day 8 ~ 2014

  • Had to put new tires on Nina’s car. It appears that she drove them until the steel belts showed. Good job Nina!
  • Damned oil changes are getting expensive. The oil change was free, the tires . . . not so much.
  • Marylou wants to go on vacation with Nina. Can’t figure out why Nina is so hesitant to bring her with to Chicago.
  • Lunch with Dennis today.
  • Talked to Joe today.
  • Tori broke my garage door button today.
  • Erin took comfort in my arms today.
  • Dunn & Bradstreet wants me to start an account with them. I doubt that will happen. I have good credit and don’t need them to tell corporations that. Besides, I have all my vendors in place and pay when I receive product.

Day 7 ~ 2014

  • How many days can he keep up with this Day ? ~ 2014 shit?
  • I don’t know but it saves me from thinking this early in the day.
  • or 365 days?
  • I know, who cares?
  • Joe is bringing the love of his life to the airport as I type this.
  • Don’t worry Joe, she loves you.
  • The new Arrow’s Ridge website is live now, and I’m just waiting for Joe’s approval to kill the old one and activate the new one.
  • Steven likes it. He loves the fact that it’s mobile friendly.
  • Mobile device friendly websites are almost more important than full function sites for computers these days.
  • Everyone has a web enabled device now and they use the crap outta them.
  • The consumer electronics show (CES) is happening now in Las Vegas and I would love to be there.  The CES is one of those shows that I have always wanted to attend, but there is always a reason I can’t make it.
  • The other show I would love to attend in Vegas is the auto show that’s held there annually, especially the parts and accessories portion of the show. Jeep specific of course.
  • At CES this year they’re showing smart cars that drive themselves. Not sure if I’d like that, but I have to admit that napping while en route to Chicago would be nice. No down time.
  • Now a motorhome where you could hit “auto-drive” and then go in the back and cook dinner or watch TV or sleep while the motorhome drove safely to your destination? That would be cool!
  • Nina leaves on Thursday for Chicago and has booked an open ended trip. She’s hoping to return in a week, but may stay longer if needed.
  • I will plan on heading east soon after she returns. My trip will be more of a pleasure trip than her trip since I usually do a lot with family and friends.
