I went for a long walk at Fort Union today. 60 miles from me, but it was a nice drive and the walk was very nice. This park has almost 2 miles of groomed trails and there’s no elevation changes like at Pecos.

Not that it means anything to me anymore . . . this 7 day a week business shit means every day is the same.
Yesterday, Joe and I went to the hacienda and while he was metal detecting, I was hiking and taking pictures. See below. The last 2 trips in that area with Nina left us unable to find the hacienda so I went hi-tech in my search. I went to Google Earth and found it on there, copied down the coordinates and entered them into my GPS in the Jeep. Found it first try.
Nothing was found by Joe and had he found anything it would have been photographed and replaced for others to find. He told me that there was too much surface trash to find anything below ground.
The hacienda has been fenced off and that’s what caused my problems in my prior attempts to find it. There are gates that allow access, but the fence threw me. I have it in my GPS now, so there’s no problems getting there now.
I am a husband, father, grandfather, friend, business owner, traveller, Harley rider, citizen, patriot, gun owner, politically eclectic person of strange personal habits. I support police, trust no politicians, and can argue any side of an argument just to amuse myself. People love me or hate me and those that are in-between don't know me.
