My bucket list?

OK, I don’t have a bucket list, but if I did I doubt that “riding a Harley in an Indian Casino” would have made the list. I doubt I would have even thought of that one, but sure as shit, today I did just that. I just happened to be at the dealership when they asked me to deliver a bike to the Camel Rock Casino. It was a 2015 Wide Glide and while a friend has and loves the model, I’d rather stay with my Ultra Limited. Comfort vs. cool.

Erin

Erin is back where she belongs. Last night she slept over and slept like the dead, according to Nina. I’m glad she’s back. Sadly, she leaves again on Thursday morning. She’s losing teeth now, as in multiple. Can’t wait to see what grows back.

Old Fartz

There’s an Old Fartz ride tomorrow. I may ride down to the dealership and see where they’re going and decide to join them or not once I find out where.

5 hours from Durango to home

We had a nice ride home this morning. Here are the pictures of the weekend.

It’s been a few days.

Well, we rode up to Durango with a few stops prior to arrival and we ended the ride at Durango Harley-Davidson. I bought some poker chips and a new shirt. They have a nice store and Debby spent time talking with (I assume) the owner or his wife. I rode sweep the entire way and it was frustrating at times.

A group of us went out to dinner and drinks happened after the dinner. Thankfully we did take a cab both ways and I slept very well that night. Sleeping well did not stop me from tiring early and I had a 3 hour nap in the afternoon, after our ride to Ouray.  While it was nice being in Ouray, the trip there was filled with traffic and 2 sections where the road was missing in action. Well, half the road anyway and they controlled things with stop lights and one way traffic alternating in the areas being repaired. Lucky it was a weekend or the road would be shut down completely.

Nina and I will leave in the morning for our trip back, solo. All the others made the trip back today. We decided to enjoy ourselves and stay an extra night. We expect nothing but the most beautiful day tomorrow, as the weatherliars have predicted.

The pictures were taken by my Go Pro camera and while they’re nice, they lack any people in them. Beautiful scenery and challenging roads.

Well, I did well.

Finished the class and did fairly well. I was told that I would learn a lot and I did learn some stuff, but not as much as I thought I would. The riding was harder than I thought because of the tiny bikes we had to ride. I managed to ride, but my ankles and calves suffered. I even got 2 certificates, one say I completed the course and the other stating that I was “Most Likely to Accelerate” in the class. We also had cake and ice cream after the class.

Class today

Well, it’s raining so I guess I won’t be riding my bike in for my new rider’s course. It’s no big deal since it’s just classroom today and quite honestly, I never have to ride in since the driving portion is done on their bikes. The dealership has some 60 bikes to draw from for their training classes. They have Harleys, Hondas, Yamahas and basically all popular brands to choose from. I’m guessing that it all depends which dealership signed them up for the course.

11 YR OLD SHOOTS ILLEGALS

11 YR OLD SHOOTS ILLEGALS thanks FOX NEWS for reporting it.

BUTTE , MONTANA Shotgun preteen vs. Illegal alien Home Invaders…Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home. It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father’s room and grabbed his 12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun. Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old’s knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals. When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the …street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive. It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David 0’Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news……..? An 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself……against two murderous, illegal immigrants…….and she wins. She is still alive. Now THAT is Gun Control!
