We have no plans, but there’s always the usual native protests about the day and the Italian’s claims. They want Columbus Day changed to Indigenous Person Day or something like that. I personally don’t care either way, but since I know more native peoples than Italians, I guess if it’s a ‘push comes to shove’ situation, I’ll go with the IPD.

Erin won some sort of beauty pageant in Dilia. It was a kids thing and she took all categories. No surprise, but I wonder how many other kids participated.

Yesterday’s ride was fun but tiring. Left SF for Mountainair at 10:30 and got home about 5:00. Nice ride with a very fun lunch with some very good people. Barbs were flying and Joel made his last speech as director, at least I think it will be his last speech.
