A week from today, Andy & I will be on the road heading east for Thanksgiving. I was hoping to bring Erin with too, but that was not to be. I’m looking forward to spending this time alone with Andy.

Nice weather for November. I’ve been riding still, but not as much as I’d like. I still will do more than 1000 miles for the month and yesterday brought me closer to that goal.

The Guys, anyone remember them? They’ve screwed up more shit on this property in the guise of fixing & remodeling.  The hot water heater in Andy’s trailer was the latest. Pipe reduction, failure to inform of a rotted floor, among other things in there. Great job! Please feel free to give your customers my number for a reference.

Paul & I ran down to Clines Corners for lunch. We had a great ride down there and a very nice lunch. After lunch we hung out there for 30 minutes and talked politics and solved the world problems. Shooting up 185, Paul peeled off to visit his sister in Madrid and I headed home.

Almost home is my first clue that I needed to turn around and head to Madrid, Tori called. For some reason she was doing stretching exercises near the surveillance system and powered it down and she couldn’t make it stop beeping. I also get told there’s no water to the outside anymore. I stop the beeping and then found out that the water was shut off by the plumber Andy hired to fix his hot water heater. I hate this place.

It happened to a friend recently. A “millennial?” screamed it in his face. Guess what people, Republicans are the party of peace, tolerance, love, and acceptance, not the Democrats. They are the party of  hatred, violence, and terror. THEY are threatening acts of violence if the election results are not overturned and Hillary is placed in office, her birthright.

The party of terror and hate will not accept the will of the people and the results of the electoral process. If we don’t fall in line with their skewed liberal agenda, they will try and destroy us. Not gonna happen? Well, they have the press on their side. They have most of the government agencies in their pocket. If you don’t think the welfare, food stamp, immigration and health care departments don’t feel threatened now, you’d be very wrong. We’re talking about their jobs, at least in their way of thinking.

Be very careful out there people. These people are violent and don’t care about the rule of law anymore. It’s their way or the highway. WE are irrelevant to them. WE are wrong and outdated. WE are to be ignored. WE are to pay for their programs. WE are selfish for not bowing to their ways and agendas. WE are the haters in their eyes. Be very careful.

• I like the sound of that over the other option.
• I love the fact that the “protesters” causing social unrest about his being elected are showing the Democratic Party to be a bunch whiny sore losers rather than the honorable party for the people. They’re bottom feeders showing their true stripes. Vandals and thugs that should be in jail.
• I hope this shit settles down soon. I’m tired of news that makes this country look bad.

Other Stuff

Yesterday we did our own Veteran’s Day Event. It was a smallish group of us, 22 bikes, heading to the Buffalo Soldier’s Memorial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Flags from every branch of service, the US flag, and our chapter flag in a flag line while various members recited patriotic verses to about 30 people. We did the pledge and finished the memorial ceremony with Taps.

After the ceremony, we retired to a local restaurant to conduct some business over lunch. Board nominations happened and I was nominated for chapter director. Since there are no other candidates, it looks like I’m it for 2017.

Yesterday was a nice day for a ride.
