And the trip continues. Today we’re probably doing the Stables Market. Nina loves to shop. Me, not so much. Stables is a market that is located in an old stable building. Since London is a huge city, the stable is also huge. Overall, if I have to go shopping, this place ain’t too bad.
Nina @ DFW’s airport. Reading as usual.Covent Garden and the crowdsNina and I at a Pho restaurant. It was amazing!Nina @ the Pho restaurant.Nina eating PhoNina standing outside the Hyde Park Winter Carnival. We did not go in, the lines and the crowds were beyond insane.
Me doing something you’ve probably never seen me do, drinking beer!
At one of our favorite chain restaurants in London, Pizza Express.
While yesterday was actually day 1, it was a lost day due to travel and exhaustion. Too bad we haven’t invented Star Trek like teleportation yet.
No major flaws in the trip. We arrived at Heathrow ahead of schedule and went through the usual immigration line in just under an hour. Our luggage was waiting for us at the baggage claim area. Our Tube cards still had money on them, enough to get us into central London and beyond. We had to change trains once, but that was no issue, is was on the same line.
Our hotel was panned on Trip Advisor the day before we left. Did I say panned, it was savaged. That caused us a bit of concern, but upon checking in we found a beautiful room with great amenities. We are in the Covent Garden area, a prime London location. We did dinner last night at a pub in Covent and had the fish and chips. Very well prepared. I also had a beer. Damn, I love the beers here.
I know I need to get a sim card for our spare phone for data. I’m using data like crazy and AT&T rapes you on foreign travels. I have a place that I like to go for my sim cards. It’s a tourist trap type of card shop, but they have killer prices on sim cards.
We are staying at the Kingsway Hall on Great Queen Street. While a bit pricey, you can’t get more in the heart of London if you tried.
This is some funny shit;
The left is attacking Trump because he’s ignoring their demands that he react to the Russian hacking “scandal”. From the news I’m listening to right now, it sounds like many of them are foaming at the mouth over this.
Trump has decided to go silent about the hacking and it’s funny haw much it annoys the left.
ORCA
So, is anyone watching oprah’s interview with Michelle? I’m glad to say that I won’t be watching. Nina and I will be vacationing and plan to spend very little time watching comedies on TV. Several online reports of the interview describe it as “two amazing women” talking. Once again the left is prompting our thoughts about 2 very divisive women and trying to make them out as modern day heroes.
OTHER STUFF
Zsa Zsa Gabor died. Rest in Peace you crazy Hungarian!
The electoral college does their dirty deed tomorrow. All over the country, the electors will assemble in their state capitals to cast their votes. 538 electors in a number that matches the house representatives in each state + 3 from D.C.
Will they honor the votes of the citizens or will they bow to the left and bring the most evil person in the country to office. I’m pretty sure she’ll remain disappointed, but oh so many godless liberals are praying for a leftist miracle that brings Killary into the job she “deserves”.
The fact that they think she deserves this job just baffles me. Her life is a encyclopedia of evil and yet the left revere her as a goddess. If the right were to do the same for a republican criminal genius, we’d be ridiculed and ostracized in the press and in public. The double standard of the left is staggering, and these pukes just don’t see it.
I’m still counting on the obama figurehead to pardon her prior to leaving office, in fact I will be disappointed if he doesn’t grant her the pardon the left feels she deserves. It would prove her criminality and damage the left for a decade or better. If she doesn’t get her pre-arrest pardon and Trump does get her prosecuted, she’s never do a day in jail. Too many bodies, some hers, some from other pols, and this vile subhuman piece of shit knows where each and every one of them are buried.
Too many pols are counting on her to keep their secrets, pols from the left and pols from the right. They’re all in bed together and scheming to keep us in the dark. We all know that once the shit hits the fan, Killary will do whatever it takes to stay out of jail and maintain her powers. Of course if she rolls on the wrong person, the chances are that she will finally get the ultimate punishment, a bullet to the brain, something that would be well deserved.
If and when she finally takes her dirt nap, I will post the following as my only post of the day:
Only special deaths get this little ditty. Enjoy & peace!
Erin comes back today, but I can’t see her. Tori is keeping her from me for some reason. Some river b.s. she tells me.
Did the Wreaths Across America thing yesterday in Santa Fe. Cold, windy, crowded, but moving. Sorry, no pics.
Went to Harley while in town and met the “Santa” they replaced me with. Some “hot, hard-body, stud” wearing red shorts with white trim. I would have rocked that outfit!
Just saying.
Nice chat with Jim Pearson, one of the lesser known owners of the store. He’s fun guy.
After a meeting of the marketing committee a couple days back, I was asked to meet with the Las Vegas city manager after my vacation. I know I impressed him, but I’m still at a loss for the reason for the meeting. Oh well, I guess I have to wait for a few days.

I support police, trust no politicians, and can argue any side of an argument just to amuse myself. People love me or hate me and those that are in-between don't know me.
