Miscellaneous Bullshit

  1. I took Erin dirt bike shopping yesterday. She was very excited seeing the Yamaha & Suzuki offerings @ Santa Fe Motorsports. The kid has expensive tastes. $1500 to $1700. Anyone thinking of shopping for her @ Christmas, best off giving her money. She’s got over $200 toward the dirt bike already and she’s real excited to get one this spring.
  2. While at the dealership, I got a chance to touch base with the store owner, Sid Mace. It was good talking to him again. I’ve bought quite a few ATV’s from him. Good guy.
  3. It appears that I’ll be having lunch with 2 Pearl Harbor survivors today. Friends of Tom Johnson are joining the Ole Fartz @ Joe’s Diner today. This should be interesting.
  4. Got a new iPhone yesterday. Ordered it quite a while back and forgot it was coming. I got the flat black + version. I missed having a large format phone since my last one went tits up earlier this year.
  5. Saturday we have a HOG Christmas party to attend. It should be very interesting and hopefully well attended. 72 + reserved, but not all paid. We’ll see in a few days.
  6. And then on the 18th, we have the Ole Fartz Christmas party at Cowgirl’s Hall of Fame.  It’s a museum with a restaurant attached and this will be our first visit there.
  7. Nina just released the hounds of Hell from her room and I let the out. It’s flurrying right now. I hope there’s no real snow between here and SF. I’m no longer a snow person.
  8. I leave @ 7:15 today to SF to have my truck serviced. Just an oil change and I may have them rotated the tires while there. While at Lithia, I’ll sit in the sales tower and confuse the newer sales people with my presence there. They’re restricted to standing in front of the counter there, while I’ll be sitting behind the counter using a spare computer to surf the net. On rare occasions I sign paperwork for the sales manager when he’s too busy to deal with that particular sales person, which adds to their confusion. When the current general manager was transferred into this store, he too was confused, but didn’t want to appear ignorant of an obvious employee that knew his name, so he pretended to believe that we had met when he was brought in. This went on for about 6 months until he finally asked about me. Fun shit.
  9. London is less than 2 weeks away. Nina’s checking the weather there daily so she knows what to wear and how many layers she needs to bring.
  10. Peace!

Erin on a dirt bike?

It appears that Erin is wanting a dirt bike, real bad. Bad enough that she’s saving any and all monies so she can buy it herself. So far, she’s saved over $200 and has a goal of $800 so she can get a really good dirt bike. I can see her and I riding Harleys together in 8 or 9 more years!

Sunday and Nina & I hit the road.

Taking the truck out for a little ride to breakfast and beyond! Yeah, I know, it sounds exciting. It gets us away from the store and the kids and the store and we get some alone time.

Vegas for breakfast and possibly Roy for lunch? Who knows. I really haven’t talked with Nina about our plans, but usually she’s up for whatever.

I wish I could take the bike today since I’ve got ZERO 2 wheel miles going into December. I know, I know, it’s only the 4th day in, but I get antsy if I don’t get my wind therapy on a regular basis. I’m sure it will warm up soon.

Yesterday I went to a book signing for a friend who authored a book about the Victor McLaglen Motor Corps, a motorcycle stunt and thrill team. They’re the oldest such team in the country and that implies there’s more than them doing this. It also turns out that one of my friends in HOG was part of the team for many years. Ken Graeb was someone that stood on 2 bikes and helped make the pyramid on some of the stunts. Pretty cool shit actually.

We’ve been eating Ledo’s Pizza for a bit lately. I brought home some Ledo’s on my last trip east, and DAMN it’s just as good here as it is there. 2 down, 3 to go. I wish I had brought more home.

Well, Nina just announced she’s ready to head out, so we’re off! Peace!

Politics

So, Jill Stein, the Green Party loser, has decided to take up the fight for that vapid cunt Killary. She’s pushing the recount in 3 states that have reported no issue with the vote or the count.  Not sure where her head has been residing, but I’m positive that it smells like shit.

Nancy Pelosi keeps her minority leadership role. I guess the new administration won’t have it as easy as they thought. I’m seeing filibusters in our future. I’m pretty sure that gasbag can talk her way into the record books with her filibuster shit. Let’s all pray that she gets throat cancer.

I’ve been watching all the sanctuary cities proudly exclaiming that they will defy Trump’s threatened actions by keeping their sanctuary status. Dumb asses, don’t they realize that as soon as planned capital projects are no longer federally funded, they’ll fold like always. Money talks, bullshit walks. Or; Money talks, liberal b.s. walks.

Oh yeah, Santa Fe has announced that they to will defy Trump. When they finally go broke, I hope they raise the taxes to their citizens to the point that they start voting with their heads rather than their asses.

Oh, that meme has to cut you to the quick Rahm. I guess that you only care about illegals since you plan on allowing them to stay and you let the gangs run the city and kill at will. Pussy.

I hate politics!
